When a single rose appears with white petals in the center of red petals, this represents the mysteries joined together within one reality. Therefore, we prefer the use of descriptive titles. Removing the archetypes from their cultural trappings in no way diminishes them. The rose has long held magickal significance for witches. The white rose symbolizes the Otherworld and the mysteries hidden in secret places.

Prior to this book there were few books on Witchcraft and Wicca that contained material for people of non-Celtic lineage, or for those interested in southern European systems. Grimoire of the thorn-blooded witch book

A novice may well choose this guide over others because of its focus on traditional green magick and its respected author. The magick ring, stangs, stones, cauldron and blackthorn rods as well as the more familiar wand, knife, pentacle and chalice are discussed as tools of the trade.

He goes into depth about communicating with plant spirits. Based on the oldest of the old ways—the primal ways that preceded cultural forms—Grimoire of the Thorn-Blooded Witch offers practices and techniques for working with the Greenwood realm and explains the five arts of Old World Witchery: herbalism, divination, spirit mediumship, mysticism, and the use of magic.

Wow, this is the first written review here, yet people have rated it? The author of this book provided free copies of the book to have their book reviewed by a professional reviewer. However, her primary task is to connect you with the Greenwood Realm and the plant spirits within it.

While I seem to be best known for writing about Italian Witchcraft, this topic is represented in only two of the twelve books I have in print today.

The elements are assigned the traditional directions of Wicca: earth in the north, air in the east, fire in the south, and water in the west. The rose has long held magickal significance for witches.
