From January —… Book to Action Welcome! Special players to listen to the books are also loaned. We always need a few people willing to pick up some boxes of books and then do as they wish - take some home, donate to organizations they care about, or take to Goodwill.

We do our book scanning and listing once or twice a week at our store. For more information about school libraries, contact your local school district. Other services include Braille and recorded books, use of computers with internet access, online access to the library catalogs, and California state information.

These non-partisan reports examine a broad spectrum of research and policy options and do not advocate a particular viewpoint. The California State Library's circulating materials are loaned to the public through local libraries.

The libraries provide access to materials in all formats. You can pay your fines with a credit or debit card. In addition to our ever growing book selection, we own a variety of movies and music CDs, or browse through what the Friends of the Library Bookstore has to offer.

Each report includes essential background information, key data developed by CRB and other researchers, and a summary of the policy debate. After searching for the title you want to reserve, select the library location to which you want the item sent and we will notify you by e-mail, a computer-generated telephone call or a postcard when it is available for pick up.

Zip Books is a service for customers to request books and audiobooks that are not in the Stanislaus County Library's catalog.If you are a BTBL patron and wish to order books via the online catalog, contact the library to establish an account.
